The shawl is knitted from side to side in illusion knitting which gives a great shadow effect. The pattern is created by interchanging between knit and purl stitches. This is also called shadow knitting.
The yarn used is :
1 skein (70g) of Shepherd´s Wool Sport as MC +
1 skein (70g) of Shepherd´s Wool CRAZY as CC (one of a kind)
Since there is only one skein of each colour combination in CRAZY, no shawls will ever be alike.
It is wise to choose a main colour not present (or only present in minor amounts) in the CRAZY yarn to ensure that the pattern shows up at its best.

It is only knitted with one (strand) color at a time.
